Inspired by the kindness shared by Malaysians during the past few challenging years, #SemangatTogether is a year-long project by Darlie that aims to uplift Malaysian spirits and inspire everyone to build back what was lost together through a common love for music, art, food and travel.

From white sandy beaches to stunning cultural villages and even lesser known gems that offer adrenaline-pumping activities, Malaysia is home to countless precious attractions. However, the pandemic has dealt a heavy blow to many of these places by taking visitors away from them.

The Art of Semangat

Creating the murals of the East Malaysian spirit.

To celebrate our #SemangatTogether spirit with our friends in East Malaysia, we collaborated with Sarawakian artist Artsy Daphy and Sabahan designer Lukis Tulis to create stunning murals in the heart of Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

By getting Malaysians involved in the creation of these visual masterpieces and combining their individual strokes and colours together, we showed the world the beauty we can achieve and how we can always build back all that was lost.

Semangat Hari Raya

Sebuah lagu Raya dari Rakyat untuk Rakyat.

To inspire renewed hope and positivity for Hari Raya 2022 after 2 long years of muted celebrations, we collaborated with musicians Reza Salleh and Muzza to deliver a Raya song that encapsulates what #SemangatTogether means.

This film documents the duo’s journey in composing an original Raya tune and completing it with the most essential component – the voices of the people.
